  • DAY 2: Trek from Sankri to taluka by taxi – 11 km same day trek to Cheludgad camp (12 km) (4/5 Hours) (2600 Meters) overnight stay camp
  • DAY 3: Trek from Cheludgad camp to Devsu Bugyal (07 km) (3/4 Hours) (2890 Meters) overnight stay Camp
  • DAY 4: Trek from Devsu Bugyal to Ruinsara Tal (12 km) (5/6 Hours) (3500 Meters)overnight stay camp
  • DAY 5: Trek from Ruinsara Lake to Odari camp (7 km) (4/5 Hours) (3815 Meters) overnight stay camp
  • DAY 6: Trek from Odari camp to Bali pass Summit – down to upper Damni (11 km) (3800 Meters) (4/5 Hours)
  • DAY 7: Trek from Upper Damni to Yamunotri temple or Jankichatti (11km) (2650 Meters) (6/7 Hours) night stay in hotel
  • DAY 8: Drive from Jankichatti to Dehradun by taxi (185 km) (8/9 Hours)

Day 1: Pick up to you from Dehradun railway station – Drive to Sankri Market

Om Advanture organizes transport for trekkers from Dehradun Railway Station in the morning which will leave for Sankri around 6:00 am to 7:00 am. Reach Mussoorie after an hour, After half an hour, stop at kempty fall. Have breakfast there and witness people from different parts of the world.

Further, you will cross the small markets of Nainbagh, Damta, and Naugaon. Reach Purola around 1:30 pm and take a break there for lunch. After having lunch proceed to Sankri via Jarmola. From there the back of Kedarkantha is visible. Go through the picturesque zig-zag road amid the pine forest of Jarmola.

Reach Mori and after 1 hour you will come across a check post. They will ask for Aadhar cards and some other details. Ahead lies Sankri, enjoy the drive and the wait is soon going to be over. Reach trekkers paradise and the main market of Sankri.

DAY 2: Trek from Sankri to taluka by taxi – 11 km same day trek to Cheludgad camp

After breakfast, ready to all trekkers we will drive towards Taluka on the way beautiful forest many species of tree, Taluka is a small village with concrete houses and you can easily find few shops and hotels there. Trek starts from Taluka and the sight of magnificent snow-clad mountains accompany you all along the way. Go ahead, cross a bridge over a stream and follow the trail. Pass through dense forest and a Supin river on the way is visible flowing through the woods below. Continue trekking and a village named Dhatmir comes into right sight.

Ahead lies a lavish green meadow, which further leads to the forest section. The trail changes to the mixture of steep and leveled path and afterward to muddy. After some hours of trekking, Supin River can be seen flowing through the woods. Now, again cross the forest section and reach the green fields and a shop on the way. From here, cross a bridge and a little higher you are welcomed by the surpassing views of towering peaks. To reach Cheludgad campsite today, set up your camps here and retire for the night. Enjoying the first camping night here.

DAY 3: Trek from Cheludgad camp to Devsu Bugyal (07 km) (3/4 Hours)

After breakfast starts the trek the destination for today is Devsu Bugyal camp on a gradual ascent that offers excellent views of the snow-covered mountains and vast valleys with huge waterfalls. Devsu Bugyal 2nd camp of malaria lake trek. Through dense forest and spot rare species of Himalayan birds, animal and exotic flowers.

Ahead, the trail gets steep, cross the last steep ascent and reaches Devsu Bugyal. This is beg meadows, and grassland, There is greenery all over, enlivening nature and open wide meadows which are perfect for camping. From here spot magnificent Black Peak.

DAY 4: Trek from Devsu Bugyal to Ruinsara Tal (12 km) (5/6 Hours)

You will enjoy this day's trek as it is full of surprises. And the destination for the day is Ruinsara Tal which is amazing in itself. After walking some distance you will see glaciers and several water streams. This day's campsite, i.e Ruinsara Tal will drive you crazy by its utmost beauty in and around itself. The tal is located between meadows and looks enchnating. You will see various snow covered peaks from here like Bandarpoonch, Kala Nag, White Peak, Swargarohini, Dhumdhar Kandi Pass Trek and many more peaks. You will have full time to explore the place and enjoy the time.

DAY 5: rek from Ruinsara Lake to Odari camp (7 km) (4/5 Hours)

This day will be completely dedicated to explore the areas as on this day there will be a short trek,i.e of 4 km. You will trek via forests & will also cross river. You will find steep path during the trek and then will reach meadow. While being at meadow, you will see so many higher peaks. After some time, you will reach Odari. Odari means Cave, hence you will see a rock cave here. You will get a chance to explore the place completely. Guide may give you some training session that will definitely help you for further treks. Stay in Odari in tents.

DAY 6: Trek from Odari camp to Bali pass Summit – down to upper Damni (11 km)

Today woke up at 5:00 am early morning Trek will start with packed lunch to Bali Pass which lies at an altitude of 4,950 Meters. Today will be the most adventurous and challenging trek.

After crossing the ridge section, Bali Pass comes into sight. Now, start the technical climb. Before reaching Bali Pass, get views of Yamunotri valley from the ridge. The last ridge climb is tough which leads to this high Pass. Now, the panorama views will surely leave you speechless and staring at the high rising peaks. Bandarpoonch and Black peak look close and clear with full sight of Ruinsara and Yamunotri valleys.

DAY 7: Trek from Upper Damni to Yamunotri temple or Jankichatti (11km)

After breakfast, head towards Yamunotri. Hot spring present there and then trek down to Jan Ki Chatti which lies 5 km away.

Take the trail descending through the forest. The downward trail is steep and it will connect to the old Yamunotri trail. If you want to visit the Yamuna temple, you are free to go.

Reach the cemented trail and in two hours come to Jan Ki Chatti. And finally you will reach your campsite where you will stay in tents for the last day of your Bali Pass Trek.

DAY 8: Drive from Jankichatti to Dehradun

This is the last day of your trek. After having breakfast with team the trekker's departures Day from Janki Chatti to Dehradun.

  • Any kind of emergency evacuation charges.

Note : Normally Outside Explorer expect to carry your personal luggage on your own, if you wish to offload your backpack, you can give it to Mule.

Charges of offloading backpack:-

  • INR 1400/- if you make an online payment, 6 days in advance
  • INR 1500/- if you inform us after reaching Sankri
  • The backpack cannot weigh more than 11 kgs. Backpack should have waterproof cover. Suitcases/strolleys/ bags will not be allowed.
